About the Role

As our Accounting Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining financial health and integrity. Working closely with our Director of Finance and General Manager, you’ll help oversee daily financial operations, ensure accuracy and compliance, and support strategic financial planning.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and manage Accounts Payable operations

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports

• Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting with the DOF

• Support bank reconciliations and billing processes

• Ensure compliance with all legal and accounting standards

• Identify and resolve discrepancies and accounting issues

• Create and implement internal financial controls and policies

• Partner with cross-functional teams across the resort for financial guidance

• Provide direct support to the Director of Finance and General Manager on various initiatives

• Strong working knowledge of hotel/resort accounting principles

• Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate, interpret, and solve financial discrepancies

• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills

• High level of integrity and discretion with sensitive information

• Energetic, self-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Previous hotel accounting experience required, especially with Accounts Payable

• Proficient in English (spoken and written)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer

• Able to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally

Housing model

Interim housing. Shared with another 1-2 other colleagues. 2 bed 2 bath. Transition into something long term; helps them save for first last and deposit, find a roommate, etc. Prices differ depending on arrival timeline and circumstances. $750 - $1500 depending on availability. Housing includes water electricity and Wi-Fi and $500 deposit refundable when they leave. Comes with basics furnishings as well. Payroll deducted.
